Mona Lisa Singers / Songwriters / Musicians
Meet Mona Lisa, a new pop group featuring gifted identical twin sisters Jojo and Wo. Born in Houston, Texas and self-taught in singing, piano, guitar, and drums, Jojo and Wo started making music when they were 5 years old. Their mother told them that all they needed was one "Yes" and with faith and determination, they got a one-way ticket to California to follow their dreams.
Soon after, they appeared on NBC's "America's Got Talent" and were featured in "Clash of the Choir" singing with Kelly Rowland of Destiny's Child. They were also asked to appear in movies such as "Just Dance" and "The American Dream" with Mike Jones. Mona Lisa has performed in Singapore, Dubai, and across Europe where they had the opportunity to open for both Alicia Keys and The Pussycat Dolls. They have been praised for their on-stage chemistry which can only be found between twins.
Discovered by their manager Joe Bilotta, who happened to have just built a full-service production studio in Orange County, Flying Pig Productions, right across the street where they were living at the time, Mona Lisa soon found a haven to nurture their creativity and musical talent. Jojo and Wo are now finishing an album with producer Markus Jay at Flying Pig Productions.
